So after ten years of having my "Taco" I've finally decided to do something with it. I have a 2007 silver double cab 4x4. I'd like to slowly build it into a decent Overland vehicle (nothing too crazy) and this forum seems fantastic for advice and getting out. Can't say I've done much, but after much reading and research (and two flats, last week) I've finally started with new wheels and tires. I know it's lame but it feels like a good jumping off point to me. So please advise if you'd like and I'm in Murrieta if that means anything.

So, I'd like to start with the ground up, and wanna hit the suspension and lift next. Then work higher and higher on the vehicle ending up with the rack; which I've got a brother who'll help me fabricate so I can keep my backfip on the bed.

Thank you all, and yes I believe my wallet is totally "f'ed" now. I have my eyes on the OME BP51 suspension lift kit. Does anyone know if I need spacers on the front where the wheels connect to the shaft?
