I've been poking around TW for almost a month now, so I figured it was time to say hello from the Chicagoland area.

I placed a deposit for an allocation on a '22 TRD Off-Road DCSB in December, received the allocation and temp VIN at the end of February, and my truck is scheduled to be built the week of April 4. So I'm getting closer to my first Tacoma, but just how close I'm not exactly sure yet.

Since 2003 I have owned 2 MINIs as my daily drivers, so moving to a Tacoma is an automotive-180 for me. I'm excited about it though. I already have a few mods I'd like to do pretty quick when finally take delivery, then we'll see where this journey takes me.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
You use that handle on another board? Bikes maybe? Seems familiar...

Welcome to the money pit...so damned many ways to spend yer money! Soooooo much information.

Yeah, I use this handle in various places...not a member of any bike boards though.

Well, a mere 6 months after placing a deposit on an allocation for a TRD Off-Road...it arrived & I took delivery last night! She's quite a change from my previous daily drive, a 2013 MINI Clubman, but the first 30 miles have been great!
