    Hi everyone, new member here.
Just purchased my new Tacoma last week and am loving it. This is my second Tacoma. Purchased my first one back in 2003 kept it a year and purchased a 29" travel trailer. Pulled it a time or two with the Taco but man it sure put a strain on it going up and down these mountains in East Tn. Soooo in 2004 when the brand new Nissan Titans came out I purchased one. Loved that truck also, but long story short sold the camper this year and just didn't "need" a big truck anymore. Price of gas was also a big factor in my decision to down size a little. So far all is going great, got almost 20MPG on the first tank of gas and expect it to go up a little after I get my TRD exhaust installed and as the engine breaks in.
I am very impressed with the "get up and go" of my new ride. I thought I would miss the power of my old Titan, but I think the Taco would give it a run for the money.:D
To be honest I also looked at the new Ford F150's, the one with the new Ecoboost engine, I was impressed with the power and the gas mileage estimates, but after already owning a Tacoma and knowing the reliability and the resale value I went with the Tacoma and am glad I did. I've never been brand loyal, I always do my research and buy the truck that I feel meets my needs at that time. And I think the Tacoma will meet my every expectation.
    Y'all take care,
    The "Bowhunter"
