    Just got a 1999 Tacoma 4x4, Ext cab, 2.7l, auto, 4.56 gears, 31" tires.

    My first Tacoma, but not new to 4-wheeling or Toyotas (previous vehicle was an '84 4Runner that I built for rock-crawling. Owned that for 15 years, and had a great time.)

    Taco is bone stock, except for some tacky aftermarket alloys and tires.
    Hope to gradually build it up for moderate off-roading, exploring, fishing, etc.
    I'm retired from the serious stuff (AND from state service).
