Hello from Iowa

Just bought my first Tacoma this week. Traded in a 2005 Highlander for it. Been Google searching accessories and continuously get hits from this forum... started snooping around and thought it be a good place to join.

About the truck: It's a black 2014 SR5 double cab long bed. Originally thought I wanted a TRD Sport but got a killer deal on the SR5 since it was the last 2014 on the lot (in fact, last 2014 for a several mile radius). Already ordered Go-Rhino stainless step bars for it. Still researching tonneaus. Leaning towards a Access original, but willing to listen to suggestions.
I don't really intend to off-road (on purpose). Got the truck for hauling project supplies and kids ...and 4wd for Iowa winters.

About me: I'm a Mechanical Engineer by education and occupation. Got too many hobbies, including; home projects, lawn care (wife calls me the lawn Nazi), shooting pistols, reloading ammo, classic muscle cars, playing guitar, RC helicopters, and most importantly hanging out with the family and playing with the kids.

Thanks for all the welcomes! The mods have already started. My 4yr old son and I installed Go-Rhino classic Nerf Bars last night. Less than impressed on material thickness and rigidity - but I'm gonna run em.
I'm expecting an Access Original tonneau, Access tailgate seal, and BedRug by the end of the week. Nice weekend project.
Wife already tried to steal the truck from me! I think that means she approves. It rides smoother than her van.
