What's a decently priced bull bar that's sturdy?

I think most members on here would advise against a bull bar, unless you just like the look. New steel/aluminum bumpers offer a lot more protection. Welcome!

I like the look of some bull bars but it is true that they will cause more damage than protection in a crash. If you are going offroad then look at a bumper or hybrid.

    And welcome

Try to resist over compensating. Bull bars lead to chrome 4x4 stickers and chrome pulleys. Things that add nothing but ghaa! Just kidding, welcome and check out the US OffRoad bumper winch. Not really a full plate bumper, less weight but you get a steel center section and un-stuckability. It's your truck and just my opinion. Welcome.
