    I purchased my first truck this year. Coming from over a decade on only 2 wheels, I'm loving everything I can do with the Tacoma. We also grabbed a military surplus cargo trailer to build out for camping. I'm looking forward to some wilderness adventures and the convenience of owning a hauler.

    The trailer is an M101A3. It's a 3/4 ton off road cargo trailer with the fence, bows and canopy. You can find them, among others, at military surplus auctions, like http://www.govplanet.com, for a low as a few hundred dollars. We bought ours from somebody who already did the legwork of getting it registered, and replaced the bearings, rebuild the hydraulic brakes, and fixed up a few things. They're sitting on 37 inch run flats, are pretty rugged and can go anywhere. We plan to make a roof rack for it to house an RTT and a drawer system for a stove, sink, etc. and use it for camping, but I've been getting a lot of use out of it lately just using it for hauling.
