Hi Everyone! I bought my 2012 Tacoma in March. It is a silver double cab 4X4. It has the TRD Sport Package with the 18" chrome wheels. Very cool looking. I really love this truck.

I recently parted with my 14 year old 1998 Ford Ranger 4X4. It was the first new vehicle I ever owned and had grown very attached to it over the years. Like many things, it was just the right time to part with it. I am certain that I will have my new truck for just as long and will be just as happy.

I have frequented this website numerous times for random information. Only recently I have felt compelled to join.

After purchase, I realized this truck has a 120 VAC, 400W inverter built into the bed. At the time, I thought it was relly cool, but unnecessary. Never really saw myself having a practical use for it. As Hurricane Sandy hit, our power went out. It managed to keep my refrigerator cold and our laptops and phones charged until our power was fortunately turned back on. We were among the very fortunate. Thank you Toyota!

Looking forward to learning and sharing for many years to come!

    Dave
