Hey Everyone! Just signed up on the forums, though I've been lurking for a while. I live on a remote island off the coast of Puerto Rico called Vieques.

I've owned a Tacoma since 2015 or so. It's a 2012 NBM TRD Sport Prerunner. It's been largely stock for most of its life. I bought it from a dealership with only 500 miles, as it had been bought for someones vacation home and never really driven. It was basically in new condition. It's since been in numerous fender benders, usually while parked somewhere and nobody leaves a dang note . It also went through a pretty massive hurricane, and sustained quite a bit of general dings and scratches in the aftermath--mainly from pulling trees from peoples driveways, driving under fallen power lines and the like. She also gets used pretty heavily for work regularly hauling heavy loads, and she looks it.

I'm finally getting around to fixing her back up. I started with a set of KO2 tires and an All-Pro steel rear bumper--mainly so the next time someone hits-and-runs, their car will be totaled, haha. A few other small mods, but mostly stock.

I will be slowly building her into a sort of overland, camping and work truck over the year. Plans include a set of wheels/flares (to be ordered in the next two weeks), a ~2" lift (debating which direction to go, though I'd like to go coils in front), plate front bumper and bed/roof rack system. Probably a lot of lights too. I am also slowly replacing/upgrading anything that was damaged during and since the hurricane and focusing on durability and utility. And yes, 4WD would have been nice, but the price I paid for this truck was just too good and I really don't need it 99% of the time. When I find myself needing traction, airing down usually takes care of things for me.
