Hello Tacoma Forum People! Just joined the forum. Bought my 2013 Tacoma from a Toyota dealer when it was 3 years old, in 2016. I'm located in the Greater Toronto Area. So I've been driving the Tacoma for the last two years. Had to get it for the cottage which is located in Kawartha, Ontario, a 2 hour drive from home... The main reason why I joined the Tacoma World is because I need to research how to get an upgrade to my stock horn. I want to get a real loud deep horn. I don't want to sound like a train, or a ship. I just want to be 3X louder, in your face loud. I looked inside my truck and found that I have a pair of Denso horns. They are pretty loud. BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT LOUD ENOUGH. Still researching... Might need to get another pair, to make it a total of 4 horns. Don't need to get too crazy. I just need a simple solution. Hope you folks out there can help. I viewed a bunch of videos of HELLA horns and don't like them at all as they don't seem to be any louder than any other stock Tacoma horns. I don't need fancy red or yellow paint.

Well, I looked them up and don't like the sound. Don't like the trumpet sound. I want a dirty car/truck horn, just 3X louder.

Welcome to TW! I’ll be taking the horn/s out of my 1999 Buick century (demo derby car) soon and adding hem to my Tacoma. Curious to see how much louder it will be
