Hey guys and gals. I recently traded my 2013 Honda Civic si for a 2012 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport double cab long box with the Supercharger. The Tacoma has 15,000 miles on it and is loaded! I love the truck so far. I had an addiction when I had my Civic and I had to dump it. No, I was not addicted to drugs or alcohol but I was addicted to modding my car. I had to buy parts every month for it and I dumped a lot of money into that car in a short amount of time. I had big plans on forced induction and spending more money on it, until I found out my wife is pregnant with our second child. We are out growing our house now, so we have plans on moving to the country next summer. Well, new baby, new house in the country, I NEED A TRUCK! That's about how that happened and I knew there isn't any other truck I would rather own. I don't plan on much for this truck other than some minor mods. I already ordered LED interior and license plate lights. Next mod will be window tint.

Both very nice looking vehicles. I know the feeling about the Mod Bug, I have dropped my share of bucks into performance and aesthetic mods.

Congrats on your TRD Sport. One of my past cars had a supercharger and I still miss the screaming whine. Enjoy !

Thanks guys. I spent a lot of time on the civic forums learning and sharing ideas. I plan to do the same here.

Thank you. It does make it fun to drive. The motorhead in me is screaming for a smaller pulley but I am trying to resist.

And there's the start of a never ending upgrade...... bigger fuel pump, headers, rework the exhaust, etc

I have done a little research and will continue to, but I read that you wont need anything for a 2.85 URD pulley and it will even run the stock supercharger belt. Any smaller of pulley will need the upgrades.

Stock Fuel pump will be maxed out with the regular pulley. Doing doughnuts and the check engine light came on, running to lean (fuel pump couldn't keep up).

The smaller pulley will require a bigger fuel pump.

Good info. Thank you. Guess I will be keeping the stock pulley for now.

Those mini's are fun. I'm sure the supercharged mini was a blast! I bet it would outrun them in the straights and totally embarrass them in the corners.

Not to hijack the OP's thread but yep.... what a blast to drive. Took it and a couple other of my MINIs down to The Tail of the Dragon in the Smokey Mountains a few times... that much fun should be illegal !

I had quite the mod list on the civic and I did all the work myself. Intake, throttle body, intake manifold, injectors, catless downpipe, full exhaust, and tune. It went from 165whp to about 210whp. I also installed HFP suspension, front and rear sway bars, front strut bar, short throw shifter, shifter base bushings, rear motor mount, window tint, LED housing fog lights, lightweight racing wheels wrapped in UHP tires. The list goes on and on.

Not much for big plans on this one. Start with some nice cosmetic mods and that's about it for awhile.

I'm the OP so no worries ;). That sounds like a blast!

I used to run a lot of back roads around here at high speeds with the civic. After all my mods that thing handled like a mini. It was planted with little to no body roll. Also another reason to sell it. My wife got nervous when I would go on my spirited drives.
