Great looking site and super info source. I'm a long time Toyota owner but first time Taco owner. So far pretty impressed but will need lots of help making it my own. I recently purchased a 2007 Crew Cab long box after finally selling my old 89 V6 4-Runner which was once my mothers. I have previously owned both 85 and 92 4 Runners as well as my all time favorite 1984 extra cab Hilux 4x4. (bough new and still have this and it runs)
My Taco came with a 3 inch lift by unknown manufacturer and 265/70/17s on stock rims. Ive added the canopy and canoe carrier off my old 92 Hilux and 1.5 hub centric front wheels spacers to allow for front tire chains.
My next project will be to mount an old warn winch via front receiver set up.
My Taco is used for fishing/hunting, hauling firewood and getting around with my wife and 2 daughters.
I have noticed that the long box crew cab seems more popular in Canada while the prefered set up State side appears to be the short box.
Anyways, i will be picking all the grey matter i can find in here soon.
    cheers
    tango
