    Hello,
My original first Toyota truck was a new Blue 93 Pickup Xtra cab. In 2001, I purchased a used a white '97 4Runner SR5 to move from Tampa to Northern Virginia, and boy do I have some memories with that 4Runner. 2 kids from birth. to teaching them to drive stick on it. The kids took that one from me. Ultimately, it met it's demise as someone stopped at a stop sign, then pulled right in front of my daughter going 45. Dual airbag deployment, everyone was fine but greatWhite97 bit the dust. RIP GreatWhite.

I own a 2001 Tacoma Regular that has been lifted and painted Cobalt Blue - my wife calls it HotWheels. I purchased it from a nice couple in Zephyrhills. They'd brought it down from PA. It was formerly used as a snow plow, and they sprayed the under-carriage. I might be stupid, but they'd done such a nice job mod'ing this thing, it looked gorgeous that for the price, I just took a chance. I don't know how to describe the lift or technical details, but I love driving this and I plan to keep it till I die or it dies.

My youngest daughter has kinda sorta (not really?) joined the club. She just bought a 92 Toyota Pickup Regular Cab of BaT. No AC, but she plans to change that.

I love the smaller Toyota trucks and 4Runners. I have two buckets in my Tacoma, but I'm interested in replacing with a bench. I love the intimacy of the small cab. I love the controls. I plan to ride out my days on this earth piloting 1stGen Tacoma or prior Toyota Trucks, 3rd gen 4Runner and before.

They are just the best vehicles ever built.

I live in Sarasota, I've used Autoworx (Darrel) down in Venice as my mechanic, and he is amazing. But I heard his rent got jacked and he's moving the next few months. So I am curious where to go in Sarasota/Tampa area.
