    Only cosmetic so far.
First of all, this is the first forum I’ve ever joined. So here it goes…

2007 TRD 4.0 TRD manual with 111,XXX miles. Bought it last Feb with 94,XXX miles.

Recently had it in for 100k mile maintenance and got some bad news: The frame.

In the upcoming weeks I will be diving into repairing a crack in the the pinch weld. I would also like to repair the separation that is occurring along much of the remaining pinch welds. I figure I might as well restore the frame as best as I can while I’m at it. I am a welder. I am not a mechanic. Local shops don’t seem to want to touch rust repair on frames.

Someone on here must have run into a similar situation and worry in their Toyota lives…I’m looking for advice before I get into it.

    Much appreciated in advance.9FB33763-804F-4F91-8573-B6AEC68FCE85.jpg 3C570E83-F005-46A3-9E6C-B7909BAC0052.jpg 596E2115-6C10-4704-BDC8-A4F04A03AD41.jpg

Do a search on TW and general internet. Companies make WIY frame caps and parts.
