Well after many years of wanting another small truck I bought another one when the opportunity arose...and this time I bought a new Tacoma TRD off-road...to replace our 2010 Toyota 4runner ..and man is it great to have a small truck again ..my last one was a Nissan hard body V6 extended cab over 10yrs ago...so with retirement from my current job coming and the impending move back to Alaska or NW Washington to start a new career ..it seemed like a good time to get a new one and since we have a low mileage Xterra at our Alaska home already we could do without another SUV so the said get yourself a new truck...so did...and it is awesome!!

So as with anything I am already building a wish list of suspension upgrades and looking at bumpers winches and lights...and man there are lots of parts already being made for these trucks !!

I am am daily driving it some days and the wife has driven it a few times and likes it as well ( how can you not ) she is a truck gal though ....

I have a problem with cars/trucks turning into projects I also work for a turbo parts manufacture part time for trade shows ( like PRI) and I have a small parts buisness and am active duty USCG and was a reserve LEO (intend to do it full time here soon)...So the Tacoma is car #7 we currently have... so I dont have to daily it, especially when we leave here, so it might be getting some fun stuff sooner then later...

Here it is the day we brought it home.

And today after I they took the steps off...if anybody is looking for some I would be happy to let them go ...

And I have all kids of other crap to drive, 08 SD powerstroke, 05 LS2 GTO , 03 STI built and swapped WRX, 69 BBC Chevelle, and a built motor 600whp FWD nissan NX2000 , and the Xterra still in Alaska...the Chevelle and GTO are in Washington in storage as well...

Thanks I can see the mod bug already nibbling at me .. already started pricing Weather-tech floor mats(might order some for the guys at work as well to save on shipping from the distributor) called a buddy about wheels and tires..trying to hold off till I get moved and settled before anything to serious...but I have called a few friends looking for a good deal on some King or Fox coilovers and rear shocks as well....so much cool stuff out there for it!!!
