    Hi, I hope to be sitting pretty in a Tacoma soon. It’s been my dream to have one since I was in high school!! Now is the time and I have the money ! Yay. So exciting. I live currently in NM but hope to be taking some road trips and enjoying new adventures. Cali girl originally that wants to be at the beach and in the mountains the next day if I want!
    I currently drive a Corolla with 219k miles!! Good car though. I look forward to being apart of the Tacoma family soon! What’s the best thing about the Tacoma you have? I am looking at the 2014-2015 years is there anything I should know (good, bad) about these years? THANKS!

    Welcome to the forum, this place is a wealth of information.

    I think you'd be well served by a '14-'15 model. It's the last two years of the 2nd generation, so they'd worked out all the kinks by then. The 4.0 engine has proven itself nearly bulletproof over the years, these are good trucks that will last you a long long time and take you a great many places. Pretty capable for a midsize truck too in my opinion.
