    Hello Tacoma World

    I just purchased a 2015 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 Off Road v6 and absolutely love it. It is a truly amazing machine and I am looking forward to maintaining it. This is the first vehicle I have ever owned that is "new". All others have been 10+ years old.

    It was purchased certified preowned with under 35k miles.
    The only thing that is wrong with it is one part of the touch screen (upper right) does not engage. The salesman said to "wait 30 days" before I could get it replaced by the bumper to bumper warranty.

    Why would I have to wait 30 days? Is this to save the dealer from being dinged by Toyota CPO for putting a vehicle out that wasn't 100%?

    The radio does not bother me so badly that I could not wait 30 days but I thought it was strange considering I was told that my warranty starts the day I purchased the vehicle. Any thoughts?

    I have never heard of a 30 day wait before getting something repaired. Maybe try contacting a different dealer and see what they say

    I am definitely going to give a different dealer a call tomorrow and get their take on it.

    Being able to change the music on my phone from the steering wheel is a whole new world of luxury to me. I love this truck.

    My thoughts were the same - salesman or company takes a hit for certifying a Toyota and missing inspection points.

    My experience with the sales manager and salesman were great.

    I called another Toyota dealer last week. Then the dealer I bought the truck at.

    Neither could give me a reason why I would have to wait.

    I’m bringing the truck in on Thursday to have it looked at for a clunking noise (I can only assume suspension at this point)
