I am very glad to join TW. I signed my documents at my local stealership yesterday for a 2015 DCLB TRD Sport premium. Tacoma has been my realistic dream car for many years, which is very unusual amongst Asian demographic. My wife really wanted the new F150, but we passed because a) F150 platinum is $70,000(really? for a Ford?), and b) F150 for an Asian guy is just too bizarre.. lol. So we settled on a MGM Tacoma. I am very happy I won't be driving my piece of shit 2008 Mazda 3 that I got when I got married 3 years ago . It was a 2008 with lots of cosmetic damages(dings + out of wack bumper and hood) but I managed to get $8000 trade in credit for it which to me is very good. I didn't get any discount on the Tacoma though. So overall, the deal wasn't that great but oh well.. it's over and I can't wait to get my very first truck.

I also own a lexus GS350(2GR) and a GX460(1UR). I love the truck feel of the GX460. But when I testdrove a Tacoma though, it felt so much more sportier than the GX460, and I thought this truck is a perfect fit for me. That's why I am orgasming right now.

My vehicle line up is satisfactory now, now that the Mazda 3 will be gone soon. I will be spending the next few days driving the shitbox beating the ever living crap out of it.

Welcome to TW. What exactly is a sport premium package?

I think we have different naming for option packages in Canada.
A TRD Sport premium would add leather seats and navigation to a regular TRD sport.

Do not quote me on this, but a regular TRD Sport in Canada would be very similar to the TRD sport in the states.

We do not have entune in Canadian Tacomas. As well, we do not have DCLB shortbox in automatic either. I wish we have the same flexibility of option choices as the US. (not to mention the lower price in the US...)

 

Now I am really jealous. I don't believe I had a factory option for leather interior. In the states, only limited ed. models are equipped with pleather interiors.

I have a strong feeling that it is pleather interior here too. They only call it leather.
I personally don't mind cloth seats at all but I have a 2.5 year old son, who will be spilling lots of liquids over the next 5 years. I needed the pleather.

I also noticed we have similar lists of vehicles, less your Yamahas.
