    I do have basic mechanical skills, but I am not confident enough in my own abilities to take on a project like that. Not to mention, I don't have a shop.

    Where do you suggest I post this to get the best reaction from Toyota? I have tried calling Toyota Canada customer service and pretty much just get blown off.

    Like I said in my rant, we do love our vehicles. Even with the problems we've experienced, I wish I had bought a Tacoma years ago! 20,000km and no repairs. Mind you my truck missed most of the bad stuff last spring, because it was sitting at the dealership. But still... Just the money I save in fuel almost makes the loan payment! After seeing mine (done), my boss went out and bought one and a couple other guys are looking into used ones. Guarantee you they didn't go to the same dealer I did. Haha
