Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
I have messed with and owend many many toyotas in the past. As of now i have more than a few and they are all projects. I have spent many hours in the past looking for info on these forums and i decided it was time to finaly join in and help if and where i can!

    current ride (daily driver)

2013 Tacoma access cab 4x4 4.0 (1grfe) 6spd (ra60f) Trd offroad, 30 in rigid industries light bar i thought i had a genoius mounting solution and it turns out someone else somewhere else had come up with it but i still love it. 3 inch spacer/leveling kit 5 spring pack (upgrade from 3) in rear to haul and tow. Trd Trail Team FJ wheels, and some other goodies. But generally still stock.

i have a 79 project, 85 project, turbo mess, 81 toy and lots of other things out there. Nice to join and i have some ideas and plans to go with as time and money allow that i will deffinately be sharing later!

thank you. so do I! its not as pretty these days but its still got years of fun left :)

4 inch springs beat to 3"
    4.37:1 gears
    31x11.50 ltb swampers (tubed)
    snorkel (busted currently)
    5spd
    22r
    pace setter header
tractor pipe (friend left it at my house, why not the exhaust was gone anyway)
cb, suroof, mirrors on a pillar (doors were getting too sad, one wouldnt roll down the other was busted glass) cd player (faceplate fell out in the woods)

I have found that very mild mods and 31x11.5x15 swampers makes for the most fun and cheapest ride i have ever owned.

theres nothing that can't be fixed (minus bodywork but its a rust bucket) and every time it breaks a simple cheap fix and its back out having fun again.

I drove this truck daily for over a year, and i still drive it to work occasionaly, where i mainly go playing is 36 miles from my house so i trailer it there (long... long drive in it) and that way when she breaks i bring her home and fix her up..

I have other, nicer, more expensive, more capable toys but nothing as suprising, fun, or more payed off than this old turd. :)

in fact i have been wheeling and enjoying every bit of the $1300 i payed for it since 2008.

i lost a cylinder (no compression) and had a very weak cylinder (75 psi) broke 2nd and 5th gear out of the l52 tranny and had one working brake (the passenger front) and had a popping in the front end in 4wd (stock 3.90 gears) and i drove it 497 miles home like that rebuilt the tranny and swapped the engine, replace the front axel (tried to pull the birfield to find out the knuckle was bent) changed gears to 4.37, did all the brakes, clutch and carb, replaced the wheel bearings and rebuilt the shift cup (could spin it all the way around) in a weekend and drove it back to kansas...

no bs. for real :) at the time i didnt have a truck to pull the trailer, i had just sold the 4runner i used for that. talk about a long drive!
