I've installed these in three vehicles, a 4Runner, a Tacoma, and a Mustang. They work great, are easily programmable, and are far cheaper than OEM.

That would work too - but they're 6 years old at this point so maybe new ones would be a good investment.

Take it to Discount tire and have new ones installed. You have a nice truck, keep it that way.

My 2010 had one of the sensors fail... The warning light came on as if one tire was low on air. Checked all tires and air was fine. Turns out the battery in them only lasts so long! So far, just one of the 4 sensors needed a new battery... this was a couple years ago and Discount tire did it... not cheap. So if your truck is close to 9 years old, don't be surprised... and bring lots of money for battery replacements! LOL

Just replace all four on my daughter's Corolla from Rockauto. I think they were $40 each and another $20 or so to have them installed at Big-O's here in town. They can also program them.
I'd have them installed if I were you.

At least on the OEM/Denso/Pacific Industries sensors, the batteries aren't replaceable. The sensor must be replaced when the battery fails.

I've not heard of any TPMS batteries that were replaceable. Like said, get a complete set & have them installed & programmed to your Taco. Costs a little more but much simpler, a place like Discount Tire, They will furnish the new TPMS, install them, & reprogram all in one stop..... I was cheeeepo, bought a set of "Denso" TPMS off ebay, roughly $40, took to local Co-Op to get them installed, another $40, but they couldn't program them, then to a local Tire store to get them programmed, they didn't charge anything but I gave them a $20 & told them to get the shop guys pizza for lunch. Kind'f a pain in the azz but saved several bucks..... Decisions, Decisions.

Hi Dave. You must not be that old, ever drove a vehicle that didn't have a nanny that told you a tire was low? ;)
A little piece of black tape will fix that light. Or so I've heard lol.

Don’t forget, the spare has a sensor in it too. At least my 07 xrunner does.
