What's going on guys. I've been lurking around here for a bit. Now that I pulled the trigger I figured I'd register. I grew up in a pre-tacoma 4wd r22 5 speed pickup and loved it. I sold it when I joined the military and have bounced thru a LOT of different vehicles. I recently talked my wife unto letting me buy "her" a 14 trail edition 4runner. I've been really impressed with it. So much so that I started looking into the 16 Tacomas. Spend any amount of time on YouTube and you will be sold on the new trucks. The dealer I bought my wife's runner from has been bugging me to come trade my 3500 Ram diesel dually in for a bit. So I text him a couple weeks ago. Asked what the deal with the Quicksand Tacomas was. I couldn't find one, online said I couldn't order one. He told me he ordered on in November and still haven't gotten it. He told me he had a TRD pro 4runner in quicksand and was getting a trd offroad tacoma double cab in the morning. So I got up, told the wife I was running to the store real quick (didn't tell her what store) and picked up my new truck.

So far I'm pretty happy with it. It's a whole new world from the monster I was driving. But all in all I'm pretty happy with it. Can't wait to get out and do some exploring with my son. He won't stop asking to turn on the crawl mode lol. (He's 4).

Anyhow here are some pics if I can figure it out. 20160119_170142.jpg20160119_170110.jpg20160122_101806.jpg
