I'm retrofitting a keyless entry into my 2001 Tacoma Double Cab TRD. I've been using the info on TacomaWorld for a while and decided it was time to join.

We bought the truck new in late 2000 and have transported the kids and grandkids in it and it has become a big part of the family.

Nice welcome, are you going with the RS3000 or something else aftermarket?

    Thank you.
I actually got a cheap kit online which includes the actuators before thinking it through. I have power door locks already so I figured on patching the command module into the existing one somehow instead of running the new wires. I'm in the beginning phase right now.
