Hello, my name is Gene and I sometimes drive a 1995 T100 that has 277K miles on it. I thought the Tacoma site would be a big help to me trying to maintain my truck.

I'm an old motorcycle roadracer from the 1980s. Motorcycles is where my true passion is but sometimes I drive truck. :)

My blower fan stopped working and from I can see the two wires that power it burned up. Is this a common problem for the older Tacoma?

    Thanks,
    Gene

Sorry I had to google him to find out who he is. I'm not big Hockey fan but I have seen the Charlotte Checkers play a few times. :)
I'm a big MMA fan so I guess that means I like Hockey too. :)

I'm originally from New Jersey but have been living in the Carolinas for almost 13 years now. I've never seen a Devil's game but I do appreciate a good fight on water or land.

    Gene,
Although I like Hockey, I'll try to answer your ?. When wires burn like that it means your fan motor is bad causing a direct short or the motor bearing are siezed. GO FLYERS!!

I just pulled the fan out and it spins okay but you can see the connectors are burnt. I guess I'll just order a blower motor. Hope I can find a good price online.
