    My name is rob, and I'm posting up from Carrboro, NC. I've owned my truck for about 4 years now and have been loving it. I had a 'check engine' light come on last night, and when I took it in today to get the code pulled, they told me that my valve cover gaskets were shot. I got a quote to fix it, but figured I couldn't go wrong by investigating around to see if this was something that I might be able to make happen myself. A couple Google searches later, I found a thread in this forum that helped me figure out what I needed to do, so I thought I may as well register and introduce myself.
