I am planning the purchase of a new truck about a year from now. The current offerings from all factories are not really what I'm looking for, so I am trying to decide on the best compromise. Full size (behemoth) trucks are not the best option for me. The Toyota and GM mid-size are probably my only choices. I briefly considered an F150 regular cab short bed 4x4 with the 5.0 engine, but it is still a pretty large truck and seems to be almost impossible to get. I have been lurking here and have decided on my ideal Tacoma configuration. Since the photo-shopped TRD OR reg cab will never happen, the TRD ORAC is the default choice. In the meantime I will watch with interest as new owners post experiences with the 2016 Tacoma.
