2016 Tacoma TRD sport

I've poked around here before but never joined. I'm on my second Tacoma, a 2016 TRD sport and I figured it'd be a great place to figure stuff out. Currently trying to get my messages to come through. After reading here I removed the quick contacts, pressed send notifications on my iPhone 5 and removed and readded my phone. Still no messages are coming through. Any other tips?
