    2019 Tacoma Limited
I just purchased a new 2019 Tacoma Limited (Cement) on 7/30. My first Tacoma.

While test driving I noticed a slight vibration through the steering wheel. Salesman claimed that it was probably air pressure, tire balance, etc, and said they would remedy it. I didn’t think it was a huge issue and made the deal.

They made me an appt with their service dept for 2 days later. After a 2+ hour wait, they inform me that both rear axles will need replaced. Really? Brand new truck.

I have also noticed another issue that I am seeing other people online complain about as well. The truck seems to run like shit at low speeds. Very choppy. Reminds me of a cylinder misfiring or a vacuum issue. I told the service manager at the dealership about it and he sarcastically said, “you have never driven a vehicle with an 8 speed transmission, have you?” Then give some line about how the truck will adjust to my driving style. Okay. I realize there will be a break in period, but damn, it is a dog at low speeds.

I bought a Tacoma because of their rep for quality and reliability. Not a good start. I want to love it and have made a sizable investment in it. Pretty frustrated with it in the SHORT time that I have owned it. I want to love it. Hope it gets better.

Anyway, sorry if I stepped on some toes here and I look forward to enjoying and learning from everyone.
