Do it!! lol, worst case, you'll have to spend a day switching everything back over but that's a small price to pay!

Yeah, me and a buddy of mine (@Rashnu) are going to be working on a solution. We're both engineers so I'm certain, without a doubt, we will solve this without a problem. We already have a plan of action. I'm picking up a broken taillight today from a guy on here as tester and we're going to start on it as soon as we can. May be a few weeks before we have something with the holidays coming up, but I've got 10 to 12 weeks to get this done anyhow!

Perfect. I like the confidence. I have no idea why Toyota wouldn’t have put them in the taillights to begin with. :notsure:

I’m anxiously awaiting your findings. I miss my BSM.

Yeah dude, that's something I don't want to lose so I WILL make it work! Yeah, it seems that in the tail lights would have been a better place to put them, especially at the price they want for them. But maybe that's also the reason!!

I think I've lost my mind! lol. I'm just running stock lower LCAs right now with the ICON skid/reinforcement plates that come in the bypass kit.

Yeah, I had SDHQ do that part for me. It's actually just a tab they welded on and the other side is part the UCA skid. :D

I'd be interested in a set of BSM taillights! Any thoughts about the re-calibration process?

first, your truck is absolutely sick! I'm actually using it as inspiration for my own upcoming build with the exact same base-model truck. Couple of questions...

    1. Do you have any additional photos of the blacked-out headlights, specifically, and could you please expand on how/where you got those done by @motorsport36? (My search skills were too weak to find anything)
    2. How is your gas mileage after all of the above mods? What's your combined average these days?
    3. For the lift, did you require any additional parts that aren't listed above? (to address compatibility issues like diff drop, rubbing, etc)

    much appreciated!
