I have a set of used Hellwig helper springs that I pulled off my 07 Tacoma TRD sport when I got rid of it. Hellwig Model # 979 these are the EZ990 2000lb helper...s and fit 05-13 Tacoma TRD, you will want to check with hellwig's website to verify part number and fitment. The helpers are used but in perfect condition and have a LIFETIME warranty. I have original receipt to go with springs for any warranty purposes if needed. The U bolts that come with the kit were never used they are brand new (my truck was lifted) any questions just ask. Nothing wrong with them, just can't use them anymore. Here is also where I purchased my hellwig from for reference.

Bump for a good deal. These things are fantastic, I don't know how they don't get more attention than they do.

I'm curious about if they raise the rear any as well. I'm looking for either some new springs or something like this to help keep the rear end from sagging while pulling a travel trailer. I don't really want to lift it any at the moment.

I didn't either. Maybe an inch? The benefits outweigh the minimal lift for me.

Thx for the input....are you on the 3pack or 4pack leafs (im currently on the 3pack)? How's the ride loaded and unloaded? I'm looking for more load capacity and can deal with the slight lift if anything but load capacity is more important.

TSB 4 leaf. Better capacity in bed(haven't had a trailer on yet),better handling for sure,no axle wrap and I think even better traction and braking. All around a great setup for what I need.

by setting a preload on these you can actually gain a little bit of height by rearching your factory springs

These helper springs have helped me haul some heavy heavy loads. And they have kept me from bottoming out the leaf springs. Yes I know I over loaded the truck but I was not making two trips for what I got. 0623111947a.jpg0623111947.jpg

Do you have a link or info to preloading them? DIY or shop install in your case?

you install the helper springs, install all of U bolts and tighten them to as much or as little preload as you want
