HELP! 05 6SPD Shifter stuck wont move

    So it slipped out of 2'nd and now is shifting fine?

    Yup it slipped into neutral but the shifter was still jammed up, so I put some force into trying to get it into gear while I was stuck in traffic and it came free and now shifts fine.

    You think this was caused by the URD shifter you installed or something else entirely?

    I dont think so, even with it removed and using a pry bar on the transmission it wouldnt budge. In some sense it could have been caused by the short shifter if you consider the fact that it makes it harder to put in reverse. This got me in the habit of slapping the shifter over harder.

    Ya hat would have sucked. Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I think this is the last straw for me and toyota. I've listed it for sale and may trade it in on an f159 fx4 or a sierra.
