Help! 2010 Tacoma squirrels moved in and chewed wires!

    Guys, thank you all for looking into parts. I called around a few different salvage yards and one of them found the right harness off of a Tundra! 20 bucks, a lot better than 75! I was very lucky that this was the only wire destroyed. Right now I zip tied some dryer sheets on both sides of the engine bay and i plan on adding mothballs too.

    What a nightmare! I count myself lucky this was the extent of the damage!

    What I find most interesting is that they seem to always chew the wires down as close as possible to the connector. Not leaving enough wire to splice back onto the wire run.

    Same thing happened to my wife’s 17 tahoe few weeks back. 2300$ to repair the wiring. It chewed the main harness that goes down the frame rail and to the back of the car.
