Ok Has anyone successfully installed a MaestroRR and an Pioneer5200nex in their truck?
I bought the headhunt and the maesrto rr and the maestro to1 harness.
I have experience with electronics but this is got me confused.I know not all plugs will be used but I've only got 2 connections that fits (seepic.)Is the the back up camera plug stand alone on my truck? The diagram from their site shows a 24pin or a16 pin connector.I have neither I found the matching color on a plug but there is a extra white wire .Its the only one without silver dots.(see pic). this is the reply from maestro
"To make that happen, you would need to get a long RCA cable, cut one end off, and splice it into the video wires at the mirror. Run that down to the radio, then plug it into the backup camera input".
Their website says nothing about having to do any of that.Hell I would have never bought it if that was the only way. any help would be Awesome. The nearest install shop to me is 100miles so Id like to conquer this myself.

I only used 2 plugs as well in my install. Back up cam integration was a no go for me (2009) there is a work around thread on here somewhere

@FadedComa where did you put everything? I'm guessing under the dash somewhere.I wish I'd done more research on this. Maestro just sent me a test firmware to reflect the unit .I was getting error codes with the old gauges.

I put mine right behind the little pocket at my right knee, no clue if your interior has one or not. Just somewhere you can get to it without too much hassle if the need arises.
