Hey everyone. I need a little help identifying a couple hoses left over after installing the supercharger. I’m not sure where they should go.

There are two hose barbs in the driver side of the supercharger left over (see green square in photo below). Coincidentally I have two hoses also left over that need to be connected but I don’t want to make any assumptions here. Hose1 (yellow marks in photo) comes from some valve thing next to the evaporative canister I think. Hose2 (red marks in photo) seems to come from the brake booster behind the master cylinder.

Before I installed the supercharger I took some pictures. Below you can see hose1 from the valve was connected to the top of the intake manifold.

Before installing the supercharger, hose2 was connected to the lower plenum of the intake manifold.

Any help would be appreciated! I’m so close to being done - it was a big job.

Hoses 1 and 2 attach to those blank ports, and that’s the easy part. Did you get the TRD supercharger specific throttlebody gasket or the one way check valve for the IAC hose?

Cause those ports are before the rotor assembly, so it’s always under vacuum

Thanks! I was missing the pages with the diagrams, which your link had. So the two hoses connect, but not to the ports I would have guessed. Glad I asked for help!

Yes, I got the right gasket - without it you lose like 1.5lb of boost! The instructions I had said you don't need the 1 way check valve for 2001 or newer, which mine is, so I didn't use it.

Gave it a start tonight and drove it. Quite a bit more power! Thank you to all who responded. :) Great forum!

Are you sure about the one way check valve? Does your truck have the ETCS throttlebody? If it does your right you don’t need it, if it doesn’t you need to get it

I must admit, I wouldn't know an ETCS throttle body if a winning lottery ticket was attached to it. How can I identify the difference?
