I have emailed @CBI Offroad Fab but they are closed this weekend, so I doubt I get a response.

This mount did not come with instructions, and I cannot find any anywhere. If I missed them somewhere, I blame the alcohol consumed last night.

My bumper is removed, aluminum "crash bumper" removed, holes on the mount line up perfectly but you cannot slide the mount back far enough to reach the frame studs. The lower radiator support is in the way. The mount came with two arms that I'm clueless on where to put.

Ive installed many bumpers on toyota trucks, but for some reason I'm stuck. Has anyone installed these before or know where I can get instructions?

Here are a few pics of what I'm working with.

have you tried removing the crash bar end caps (same hardware as tow hook)? also make sure you're not trying to install it upside down.

I did not think of that. Its definitely not being installed upside down. To be honest I didnt know the end caps even came off. Whats the point of having them?

If thats the case, Ill be able to get the mount into the frame studs. Then Ill just to figure out what these crazy looking arms are for, and why there are so many holes in them.

Those arms are frame supports. 2 holes where the sway bar connects, 1 on the side of the frame, and the last 2 on the bumper. They are easy to figure out once you know where they go. Just follow those instructions and you'll have your bumper on sooner than you know it.

Thanks everyone for the help. Not sure why I didn't think to look at other CBI bumper installs. I should have mentioned the Toyota trucks I've always worked on were FJs and 4th gen 4runners. So the brackets and power steering cooler/line relocation brackets were foreign to me!

The mount is on, and I'm taking a break to go have dinner with the inlaws. I will finish up with the support arms tonight.

I will note that CBI did not send me any smaller hardware for the other end of the power steering relocation brackets. I followed the instructions in the above link, and just used a nut/bolt combo that I had in the garage. I'm assuming it was done correctly. As you can see in the image in the opening post, I only received bolts that were too large to fit through that bracket.

It wouldnt be a garage install though if it didnt require a little creativity or me breaking something.

Anyone know how big exactly the hole needs to be in your bumper valance? It seems the front of the bumper protrudes out so I can't lock it back in completely. I don't wanna cut it too big either. Any help will do
