Currently running the 97 Taco, the problem first started a few weeks ago. I hit a bump, this caused my 10A Gauge to blow. Any suggestions on how to fix this.

loose ground or power at fusebox or in gauge. Could be shorting out somewhere else in the wire.

How would I go about checking for the loose ground since that seems to be the quick solution

get the wire and check both ends. Sometimes wire breaks down in the jacketing and you won't be able to see if its broke.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Slowly start looking for the short. Does the fuse open now when a new fuse is installed?

Is there any electrical devices not working ? After market goodies installed?

The fuse is loose in the socket you hit the bounce and caused it to arc any loose connections may also arc.

The 10 amp gauge fuse protects many circuits.

    good luck.

It’s a 25 YO vehicle. Wire can be abraded anywhere. Fixtures can be cracked. Unless you get lucky and guess correctly, tracing wire is the eventual solution.
