TLDR: I need suggestions for suspension and what to put on my truck to help carry the load.

So I’ve looked up a lot of things about “overlanding rigs” and have figured out what I want on my truck as far as a camp setup and interior setup, but the one thing that my monkey brain cannot understand for the life of me is my suspension. I’m going to be using my truck as a daily driver but will be carrying recovery gear, a rtt, a full-size rack, softopper, and my camp kitchen 90% of my time driving considering I tend to go straight from work out to a campsite on fridays. My question for the TW community is what should I do suspension wise to help with the added weight. All in I’m looking at a typical weight of around 475 pounds, that’s me plus all of the gear I will always be carrying. Add the dog, lady I live with, and their additional gear I’m looking at closer to 700-850 depending on how much water we’re carrying. I go camping with her two weekends a month. I haven’t caught the off-roading bug just yet but I’m set on carrying the necessary recovery gear with me in case I come across a situation where I or a friend may need it. If I had to keep the stock suspension I could probably just run the rtt rack and softopper, that would put me at constant load of around 390 pounds. Would stock suspension handle that constant load?

Check out Hellwig Helper springs (EZ 990). I use them to keep the rear level when I’ve got a load or trailer tongue weight. Under light or no load they’re not engaged so there’s no down side to having them installed permanently.
