My brother is in the Air Guard in CA, he went on many tours all over the world while on active duty. Now he is dealing with PTSD, currently in a treatment program for PTSD after 3 suicide attempts and alcohol treatment (You can't drink PTSD away). He has finally come to terms with what he is dealing with and seeking help. The Air Guard is really helping him, getting him treatment and assigning him a new duty station that is less stressful and if he is discharged, he has a medical discharge hearing after he completes the current treatment, he can stay in the same position as a civilian.

Now the questions is what can we do. Two things: Pray for him and help him get a service dog to cope with PTSD, there is no cure.

This link is to his go fund me account were he explains his situation and what he plans to do with the money. Every dollar helps, you can give as little as $1 or as much as you can. This is one area the government still isn't handling properly and the charity originations are stretched very thin. He doesn't drive a Tacoma, but he is a good guy and a loving father.
