    Fact of the matter is nine times out of ten the guys you find running around bragging (lying) are full of shit about what they did in the military or even serving at all. Case in point is the panhandler you see at your local intersection with a sign claiming to be a homeless vet, next time stop and ask them a couple questions like when did they serve with what unit etc. and see what kind of straight up bullshit answer you get.

    Id be surprised if this guy even served and if he did it was probably in some soft skill MOS that never saw any type of combat.

    I work with one of these guys. Funny thing is that we work for a very large corporation used by military and their families. Anyway... Talks about his service all the time. My coworker who is a retired marine finally asked him what the hell did he do while in the service. She pulled me aside later that day and she told me that he said he was a swabby and only stayed in two years. One day he decided to cop an attitude and ask me about my family’s service. Grandpa and my two uncles served in the Navy. He asked what rank my grandfather was, CWO3, not bad for a dude who joined the navy without finishing high school. I asked my coworker what his was, E3. He’s kinda piped down since then. :laugh:
