I have a 2.7L '99 Toyota Tacoma with a coil engine. How do I adjust the timing? I've only been able to find information on engines with distributors. I don't know how to adjust the timing for a coil engine.

You don't. The computer takes care of the timing. You can check it I believe but short of pulling the chain and moving the cam (bad idea) you can 't physically adjust it.
