I recently did head gasket on my 284 k mile 3rz. Since then there is a loud clicking sound very noticeable with ac off at idle. Engine runs good and noise disappears with rising engine speed. I researched and seems like the valves need to be adjusted and shimmed properly. I am very mechanically inclined; did couple of engine rebuilds...but never adjusted valves.

I was wondering if there is anyone in Phoenix/east valley area who could help me. I'll pay or bring beer or hard alcohol. Whatever works.
