I see light racing is having a lot of uca issues but most if not all of them are second gen problems. Have any of you had problems with your first gens?

I've had mine for a little over 3 years, no problems. A lot of the issues were in the earlier sets where they used a different washer set up to install them. They were binding and snapping the uca at the weld.
Then they had bushing issues. Light racing went to more of a poly type of bushing.
They've had some issues but they seem to have pretty good customer service from what I've read on here.
I think most of the issues have been 2nd gens but there have been several 1st that have reported on here about a snapped uca.
I haven't had any issues but I also don't wheel my truck. My mine purpose was to correct alignment issues. Which they did.

I have an older set of LR UCAs on my truck. So far, I've only had one issue with them. On my driver's side I tore the rubber (old style) bushing and it got sloppy. Bought the new bushings and I've been good to go. I think I've had my UCAs for 4 or 5 years now and have put at least 30,000 miles on my truck in that time... many of which were rock crawling. Overall, I've been really happy with the LR hardware. They allow my front suspension to move really well, the seal ball joint doesn't accumulate dirt/salt in the winter and they seem to be well constructed. If I were to get another rig, I'd buy another set in a heartbeat.

    My two cents...

this was mine, after a 2 day camping trip. drove 2 hours home wondering why there was a clunk on my passenger side. :(. LR sent me the new design and has held up so far.

I think I'm going to get a pair. Tc and camburg are too expensive. Thanks for the input.
