Help! Anyone Able to Help recover a Truck in Miller Jeep Trail?

I have my buddies ZR2 Stuck on the Miller Jeep/Lockwood area. Ran outa ideas on how to recover this bucket and I'm reaching out to TW to see who can help on this one . Definitely can compensate for your time

I made him go thru an offschut and the tie rod tacod in, we parked it and went back to the city to get some Micky mouse equipment but nothing worked and his CV busted in process lol

Plan A is he's gotta get new CV and Tie rods and we fix it up there in a few days

Plan B would be if any member from TW thinks they can Mickey mouse this to make it to the bottom of the hill, maybe portable welder and tack the tie rod back

Wish I could help considering we have a Chevy franchise, but I work all weekend.

Sticking around to see how this pans out.

 

replace tie rod. pull the axle and go 2x4 and use two 4x4s (with winches) one in front/rear to assist the limping chebby off the trail.

Yeah looking like the plan, such a bust zr2 parts aren't readily available. Might leave her up there for a week

What happened? Other than a broken tie rod?

 

yea tie rods, hard to get on without them.

@KGTaco happen to be a part of SCOR, socal off road recovery, on Facebook? There's a lot of bs on there but there are some die hards on there that live and breathe to do rescues. Probably could find someone there

Nope. Just three sets of jumper cables and 1/8 6010 rod. 3 batteries will do the job quick and easy.

Damn I was just on that trail a couple weeks ago with a few guys on here. Gotta be somewhere in the AM otherwise I would head out tomorrow. Post this up on the SCOR (Southern CA Offroad Recovery) facebook page and you'll get someone out there

That truck wont be in 1 piece very long if left there. I'd be cautious to even leave it overnight.
