Yep, I use my floor jack handle as a cheater pipe all the time.

Once upon a time I picked up a 1.5" Dia X 4' cast iron pipe from Lowes. It has man handled many a axle nuts over the years.

I've got Pony clamps for woodworking that use a 3/4" black pipe. Those pipes make a great cheater on my 1/2" flex handle or my Craftsman 1/2" ratchet.

You forgot to mention the part about using it on your 1/4" drive ratchet handle.

3/4" 500lb impact wrench works for stubborn nuts. Most of the time a 1/2" will suffice.

I used a 21" long 3/4" breaker bar with the appropriate socket. I bought a cheater bar just in case, but never had to use it. It did take just about all of my 180 pounds of cellulite fat ass pushing down on the bar to get it loose.

Do you have cameras in my shop? It turns out Snap On will warranty a 1/4” drive ratchet if you put a cheater pipe on it. LOL

Heat it up with a propane torch for a good 5 minutes and melt some wax on the threads close to the nut. repeat a few times. It really works, look it up. I even snapped a 1/2 breaker bar before trying this. Worth a try if you don't have air tools.

I will not confirm or deny that Sears once warrantied a 1/4" drive Craftsman ratchet that I may or may not have done the same thing to. The guy looked me straight in the eye (with a new ratchet in his hand) and said, "I'm going to warranty this one, but please humor me with how you broke it." I was completely honest and said you did it.

I’ve used a breaker bar, lifted with a scissor jack. :anonymous:

    LOL
I may or may not have used a hydraulic press to press a ball bearing into a badly worn Snap On socket.

You sure you dont have a piece of cotter pin stuck in the hole for the castle nut or something weird like that? These nuts are effing tight, but its usually a pretty clean area so it should break loose fairly easily in my experience
