    WHY BEERSNAPS??

What's the big deal? Most bottle caps twist off. For the ones that don't, you can use just about anything in your pockets or within reach. Seatbelts, pocketknives, lighters, keys, etc. I just don't see the point in carrying something extra in my pocket. It's like carrying around a paperweight in one pocket and a general purpose rock in the other. Why have these things gotten so popular?

You don't have to put it in your pocket, it has a built in belt loop hanger.

I use mine in my home and for camping, and have a different opener on my keychain, and the beer I prefer to drink aren't twist off. Now, why BeerSnap? Couple reasons. Mainly, because why not? It's a nice bottle opener and isn't made in Taiwan or 50% plastic and that is appealing to me. They could've named the company "only assholes buy this beer opener" and I'd still be talking about them, its a good product. Secondly, it's made by a small American business that is a side business for a normal full time working guy, and I support that type of business.wholeheartedly. I do not support China by buying a $2 bottle opener when I can spend more and put a little change in n Lee's pocket. I have it to spend, so I can put it where I want. I don't know how popular they are, but they are a craft made product sold to people who appreciate what that means. That isn't everybody. Lots of things can be used to open a bottle and that is the end goal, so use what you want. Drink up! But there's only one BeerSnap, and I'd rather have a little more fun and a little more enjoyment so that's what I use. Unlike seatbelts and lighters, its also the right tool for the right job.

When you can put a name and a face and a family to something you spend your money on, then your perspective changes. Sure, it costs more, and yes there are thousands of cheaper alternatives, and I could probably make one myself if I put the time and effort into it. But none of those things are the point.

As a side bonus, I can say :brianr: to several people with my right hand while holding a mega rage inducing product with my left. In some way, having a BeerSnap makes me not a an idiotic, small cocked douchebag. :canada:

Custom cut? I'll let you know. I inquired about a custom design yesterday morning, Lee sent me a mock image this morning and we're working some other stuff out, but Beavis might know better. Or you can ask Lee, he's a member here (BeerSnap is his ID) or email him an inquiry through beersnap.com

He's a working man and BeerSnap is a side gig, so you may not hear back immediately, he will get to you though

I've been very happy with BeerSnaps so far. Inquired last Friday about 8 custom openers for my wedding and Lee was very responsive and helped me with options and ways to make it cheaper for me, but look good. We had a very very very slight production time snafu and Lee offered to front the 2 day shipping costs, despite me putting him on the crunched time frame. I declined his offer because it was my fault and will have my openers tomorrow.

Overall I've been really impressed with their customer service and can only imagine the product will be just as good. I'll post some pics tomorrow when I get them.
