Help ! Blew fuze changing alternator

    99 Tacoma 4wd 3.4 supercharged
    Changed out alternator on 3.4 now all I gain the cab is cab lights and door buzzer. What fuze could I have blown to make it not crank and no lights on in dash at all ?

    Bilsteins, OME 881's, 3-leaf AAL, Detroit TruTrac, Tundra brake swap, Michelin LTX AT2, Tranny skidplate, TC skidplate, CBI rear bumper, TG sliders, UltraGauge, PowerTank, Reverse Camera
    Check the fusible links near the regular fuses under the hood. There are 3 (30a, 40a, and 120a).

    And next time disconnect the battery before you start playing around with the alternator. Lot's of potential for having a BIG short when you're working with the leads on an alternator.

    Locking Tailgate & Gas Cap and extra bed D-rings
    GREAT ADVICE!!! A fully charged car battery can easily produce 2000 amps of current with a dead short and explode from the heat generated internally.
