My brake lights are malfunctioning. Rear top cab brake light works just fine (it’s the only one). When head lights are OFF and I brake it’s the only one that works. Other two (L) (R) brake lights stay dark. When the headlights are ON the (L) brake light stays on (like I’m breaking continuously) regardless if the brake is pushed or not. The (R) brake is backlit when the headlights are ON and go off completely when I push the brake. What gives?

Any wiring mods? LEDs? Auxillary lighting? Aftermarket trailer plug?

I did Ultimate Headlight Upgrade w/ Rigid Fogs years ago and everything’s been working fine. All the lights have been LED upgraded. I’ve got a fully loaded SwitchPros for auxiliary lighting. It does tap into my HighBeams Wire.
It did most of it myself and it’s been working fine for years now. I’m no pro though so...

Rechecked it and things have changed. Now it just appears like the (L) brake light is out when the brake is pressed. The backlight is still working though. Just doesn’t go deep red when brake is pressed. Could it be just a bad bulb on left side causing all this? Got bulbs coming

The first thing I'd do is go back to "stock" (non-LED) tail / brake light bulbs just to see what happens. With standard bulbs, you either have a complete circuit through the filament or you don't. With LED bulbs, you have a whole bunch of circuitry driving the actual LED. When that circuitry goes bad, weird things can happen. Try that and get back to us. Don't drive around without proper brake lights.
