HELP!!! Brother's kidnapper asking for reconsideration

i only say this as a father and i believe a pretty good family guy & human being.if anybody or anything hurt in any way a member of my family ,may the good lord help them. the no -brainer to this sad event in your family is that you can never give people like that the chance(however remote) to harm anyone in your family Ever !!!!! Ever!!!!!! Again!!!!!! they have been through enough sleepless nights worrying about this asshole who would have killed your'e family!!!!!!!!!!! I't's a slam - dunk NO___Brainer!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say it again... let him rot in jail.

You shouldn't feel guilty that a person who intended to kill you is paying the price for his actions. It's not your fault, and you're not the one that's keeping him behind bars. He's doing that to himself.

Do not - Do not - DO NOT not let this guy out or you're asking for another attack on your family. EVEN IF he tries to get clean, it'll take Just one slip up and he'll be drunk or high and thinking about the mess he's made of his life and looking for somebody to blame... again. He'll still know where you work/live and he won't need access to a gun (which SURELY they'll take away) to do irreparable harm to you and your loved ones.

Keep your family safe by keeping him where he belongs.

 

So lets see, he had a hit list that was made up completely of your family memebers, held an assault rifle to your brother, strapped him with explosives (lol @ only enough to blow his arms off though, what an idiot. at least use something that would finish the fucking job) and your brother wants to let him out.




You seem like somewhat of a religious person (or, atleast your brother does.)

I have to agree with everyone else. Leave him where he is. He's there because of HIS OWN ACTIONS - not yours, brothers, etc - just his. No where in your post did you mention he said he was sorry and wanted to make ammends. He's "making nice" so he can get out and finish what he started.

If you help him get out, you will live in fear and always wonder when he's going to show up.

 

we have decided to see to it he serves his full sentence. Just hope the courts will back us.

Well my brother just emailed this. this is the guys attorney saying this. This is the second time this week saying this. My brother told his contct that he didn't want to hear anything they had to say. they can't just stop.

Would you really want to live with the fact that this guy gets out and maybe kills someone else all because you decided he needed another chance? worse yet live your life alone be cause he came back to finish the job? You dont give chances when your family's life depends on it.

Youve done the right thing so far...coninue doing it. spend the happy years with your family praying for his soul while he is in JAIL.

If he'd try it once, he would try it again.

I would highly advise letting this guy serve his sentence in full. From what you descried, your life (and your brothers) were intended to be taken that fateful night.

 

If he and his lawyer keep trying to contact anyone in the family, after being told to stop, I'd get a restraining order on them for NO CONTACT at all. Almost sounds like it's bordering on harrassement.

He's only remorseful because he GOT CAUGHT, not because of what he was doing to the family.

Leave his sorry a$$ in jail forever.

If you "ruined his life" but firing him, how do you think he feels about getting him locked up? He gets let out and you or your brother could very well be dead men. Or worse, your families

well a letter was sent to my brother today from the Criminals brother. My brother told them no that he didn't want any contact with them and they sent it to his home address!!!! They were suppose to send it to the attorney if one was suppose to be sent at all. I intercepted it before he could read it. it basically was all about them and what they as a family have missed out on without him being there. Such as his father passing away and his brother. Also, that his grandson will hardly know him. They really tried to pull the heart strings on him and make him feel sorry for him and his family. they find it ridiculous that he has such a stiff sentence and Tommy should do the right thing and put a good word in for him. They say he now understands the relationship he was suppose to be having with God and he has been sober for 3 years now. he is well like in Prison by the guards and helps in Hospice. he says he is very sorry and would love to see him face to face to tell him so. it was all about how they feel and nothing about how this has effected us and how we would feel if he got out.

 

Have your brother write a letter back, saying something along these lines.

"Your brother points an assault rifle at my head, strapped me with explosives, and tried to use me to kill my family members.

I couldn't give a shit about how you or your family feels about this matter. I hope your brother rots in prison. I will do everything I can to make sure that he stays in there."

Short, simple, to the point.

 

personally i wouldnt forgive or forget this douche bag. if he went through w/ what he had planned then you guys wouldnt be here today. your family is more important to you than a piece of shit criminal.. let him do his time and if anything just hope he takes control of his problems while in prison.

i am a cop in the cenrtral texas area where i see this type of activity everyday. i deal w/ the same meth heads every week and have been in some seriously fucked up incidents with them. i have had my family threatened in the past by a guy that was later sentenced to 85 yrs in prison. i was asked to be at the final hearing in which they asked me what i thought he should recieve. i told them since he threatened me and my family i thought he should die!!!!
