Help building a new PC

It's all good man! I've just been geeking over all this crap for the last week or so. lol

 

Last SSD I looked at in that size range was well over $600, so....

(In my my defense, I built my current rig in January, so...)

 

Yeah they've dropped A LOT. Don't like to think what I paid for my two 64GB SSD's like nearly 2 years ago.

 

Keep your eye on Slickdeals.com, they post SSD's for awesome prices just about every other day. I few days ago I saw the Crucial M4 256 for $160. I got my brother a 128 for 90 a few days ago.

Also I would recommend the Crucial m4 or Samsugn 830. I spent a bunch of time researching them and each time came out back at those two based on the experiences of others and their recommendations. They have been on the market longer and use more reliable firmware. (you can get cheaper drives but they are also slower and less reliable -- like the OCZ agility series) So far I haven't had any problems with any of the m4's in my computers.
