Help buying a 2000 Taco *Tips Please*

x2, what was wrong with it?

Oh and I have basically that same exact truck only a year newer/mint condition and I got it for $8k with 146k miles.

 

Not necessarily... I have a TRD model with no power windows or locks. Hell, the truck doesn't even have a/c haha

 

Got any pics of said TRD ?? a '98 xtra cab is not a TRD ?? haha

Locking diff.? ?

 

I honestly don't have any pics of it at the moment... I am going to take some before/after once I put on 5100's/Eibachs and new tires. I did some reading up on the taco's before I bought the truck- apparently 98 was the first year of the TRD option so I'm not sure why this is such a surprise to you? Yes, it has the rear locker (loove it), cheesy skid plates and billy's that come with the package. The guy that bought it originally just didn't feel the need for any other options, and neither do I.

 

No its no surprise, just most TRD's came with most the bells & whistles, as long as you have that beautiful little button to push is all that matters

post up pics when you do the 5100's w/Eibach this is the route I'm going on mine.....

 

I was going by the pictures posted and also what the dealer told me over the phone..that was his description of the truck. I drove 2 hrs only to see he was just trying to get me into the store..

 

That fucking sucks but not surprising, too bad ya couldn't make them fill your tank for the wasted trip...
